Keith Cornell – President

  • The President of the Board of Trustees is a native of Rockland County. He is a graduate of Swarthmore College and Vermont Law School. One of his children graduated from RCDS in 2013 and one is a member of the Class of 2017. Keith is the principal member of the law firm of Cornell & Cornell, which has an emphasis on Elder Law, estate planning, estate administration and wills and trusts. He is a past President of the Rockland County Bar Association and the Arts Council of Rockland. He is currently a Commissioner of the Palisades Park Interstate Park Commission.

Maria Luisa Whittingham

  • Ms. Whittingham is a member of the RCDS Board of Trustees, and an alumna of the Fashion Institute of Technology. A native of Puerto Rico, she is devoted to her work as a member of the Nyack NAACP whose focus is on racial equality, the Nyack Youth Council, Hopper House, and the Friends of the Nyacks’ Music in the Park concert series. The owner of Maria Luisa Boutique and ML Gifts & Accessories, she has been honored as “Friend of the Year” (2011) by Friends of the Nyacks, and Woman of the Year (2012) by the Rockland Business Women’s Network. She was named “A Woman of Vision and Leadership” by The Nyack Center, and has also been recognized for her work by the Center for Safety & Change, formerly the Rockland Family Shelter.   

Jim Fyfe 

  • A graduate in Theater and Speech from Allentown University, Mr. Fyfe spent over 20 years in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles and New York before coming to RCDS. He has been a writer, director, and producer of a variety of television shows and comedy acts. He also has been a speech, marketing, and drama coach for students and politicians alike. He taught Humanities to RCDS students for 12 years and recently left to become a segment producer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. 

Mark Adolph

  • Mark Adolph, RCDS Class of 1979, has held program management positions at both Microsoft and Amazon, meaning that his job is to combine problem definition with solution design. He arrived at RCDS in 6th grade knowing exactly what he wanted to do with his life (astronaut) and why; however he found computing and has never looked back. He has his BS in Engineering from Stanford University and his MS in Software Engineering from Seattle University. He was a peer counselor at Stanford, is a trustee and performer at Tacoma Little Theater, and sings  Bass/Baritone with a cappella groups.
